Is development, tooling and IP one combined package?
No. This is a starting point for related work. A new development project, an agreement about tooling and a dispute over existing property may need different services. We identify the decisions and documents before proposing a scope.
Where should I start if the supplier is already holding my designs or moulds?
Describe what was provided, who paid, who currently holds it and what agreements or messages exist. Contract drafting alone may not address an existing dispute. We first identify whether assessment, negotiation or recovery work is needed.
Can you work with our designer, engineer or overseas attorney?
Yes. We can coordinate the agreed mainland China legal work with your existing team. Technical specifications and testing remain with the appropriate specialists, while legal responsibilities, instructions and information-sharing arrangements are defined at the start.
Can you help negotiate the development or tooling arrangements?
Yes. Preparation, attendance at remote or in-person meetings and follow-up drafting can be scoped together. We agree the objectives, authority, expected meetings and deliverables; negotiating support does not itself authorise us to commit you to a deal.
Not ready to instruct us?
The free step is a scope check only: we confirm fit, what information is needed and which paid service or assessment is appropriate. Substantive legal analysis and document review are paid work.
If a deadline is approaching, identify it immediately. Typical turnaround starts only after the scope, complete materials and engagement conditions are confirmed.
Start with a short summary and the parties’ names for a conflict check. Please wait for us to confirm how to share documents before sending sensitive files. Sending an enquiry does not mean we have accepted the instruction.
